'No refunds, no exceptions': Restaurant refuses to reimburse customer for food they never delivered

    Restaurant shorted my to go order and refused refund the food I didn't get. Blamed me for "not checking my order before I left"..

    So I have been finding any review platform to tell my story as a review, texting friends and family to upvote my reviews, as well as charging back my meal. I was ready to put it behind me but what really set me off is the owner's snarky Google reply to my review(and snarkiness on pretty much any and all medium or low reviews). So on a mission of pettiness... The gist of my experience and basically my Google review:

    AVOID THIS LOCATION**. Only 2nd 1 star review I have given. Apparently the owner finds it more important to leave snarky review replies than to not to steal from customers by shorting them on their order. I'm impressed though. Only took them 5 minutes to reply to this review but 8 days to call me back to tell me they're not going to reimburse the food they didn't give me. The manager would rather blame the customer then take accountability for their staffs mistake. Food is mid at best anyway.

    Original review: Ordered online for the super bowl and when I got home 1/3 my order was missing. Not a big deal mistakes happen. I called them to let them know and they said I could come back and pick it up but told them I'd rather just get refunded because I live 25 minutes away and the game's about to start.     on the receipt it says to check your order before you leave the store for takeout. Reluctantly they said they would reimburse the part of the order that was missing to my card and a manager would call me back. Manager called the next day (8 days after the initial order) and said sorry it's been too long since it was purchased to reimburse (which was a lie) but we can give you 8 wings... When the manager called me 8 days later and said she wouldn't reimburse but would give me 8 wings I was just over it. I said you know I'm over it I don't need the wings I'm good Don't worry about it then hung up. Then they left that go mn reply and it just irked me the wrong way. Not really sure why the owner

    of ATL wings on Broadway in Tucson is so rude and snarky replying to Google reviews to anyone with less than stellar reviews. It's like they dont want people back. Looking at past reviews they literally replied to a customer by calling him strange. Who does that? Edit: thanks everyone for the support. They have started creating a bunch of fake 5 star reviews and removing 1 star reviews with no words. If you still want to help you can report 5 star ratings with no comment as not helpful/spam.

    Judge Judy4Prez642 - 1 day ago I found your review and gave you a vote!! I don't know why someone with the company would want to leave replies like that. They left a lot of unnecessary replies to others as well. I worked in retail for almost 40 years, and that is one of the WORST things they could do. I mean it was only like $12 they would have to reimburse. But instead blame the customer and his reply as well as with others I couldn't believe it. 249 Reply Share

    LadybugGal95 - 22 hr. ago Absolutely crazy. I got takeout for 4 at BBops the other day. When I get home, I realized my burger was missing but there was an extra set of fries. I called them. The manager apologized and said "Yeah, the burger is sitting right here." Since it's only a couple miles away, I said I'd swing back over. They made me a fresh burger and offered more fries and a chocolate shake and said they were sorry at least 3 more times. Not sure what they would have done if I'd been far

    harrywwc 1 day ago I dunno, is it too late to lodge a dispute with your card supplier? I mean, they didn't provide the product you paid for - only a portion. So, if they're going to play 'silly buggers', then perhaps disputing the charge and see what they come back with? Reply Share 127

    Polka Dot Dancer - 1 day ago There is a business in AK like this. Matanuska in its title. Several locations all with rave reviews but one. Fire the manager already! Bad reviews and snarky comments if any feedback at all. And the beer is great but the food is just...OK. I won't go there again. I dislike bad attitudes. 435 Reply Share
